When I got this beer it tasted like it was way overly hopped. I couldn't taste any chocolate or coffee. My home brewing experience has taught me that time saves all, and six months later this was a phenomenal beer. I think Rogue should pull back on the hops for most of the consumers who get this within weeks of shipping from the brewery. I love their pacman yeast and appreciate the hops in most of the other brews including dead guy but this one you need to let the other flavors shine. If you get a young pack like I did, shelve it and it will be great in a few months.

The "Theme Park" is the Big Red on College, I call it the Theme Park because it has a carnival scene painted on the side facing the road. It also has the widest selection of the Big Reds and sells more single bottles of beer than the others.

I hope the "Theme Park" is a beer store, I LOVE the name if it is. Yeah, I've enjoyed java porters before -- but for combining coffee and chocolate, this is the best chocolate coffee porter I've had so far. Though I have to say, I'm genuinely thrilled by a few of the coffee stouts I have coming up.

This IS a dandy. You can only get it in big bottles at the Theme Park, though. That means it wants to dump brew through that chip in my mug. So it has to be done in two pours. Its really hard not to chug this because its such and easy drinking thing. When i had it, I didn't wash the mug and let it sit out over night. The next day I was able to "peel" the head's remains off the side of the mug.
